Hi I posted a add back in 2010 on this website. I am still trying to find
my birth mom Giselle Korody or Margaret known as (bucilla maiden)
I don't know what her last name is now, but last known living in Saskatchewan in 1970's. She was born in Hungry

Hi If anyone has any information that may help me find her. Would be
very much appreciated or need more information I may have.
Also, for medical reasons still searching for hope to locate her.

Currently tracing Father's side of family, which has taken me to Woodside, Aberdeen. My Grandfather, John Edwards born abt. 1875 resided with a William & Elizabeth Henderson, in Old Machar, Grandholm Cottages. There is also a mention of a Joan (Jean) Grant. Census states W. Henderson is the son of J. Grant. Then is gets interesting: tracing J.Grant & W. Henderson back through the censuses, a J.Edward suddenly appears as the son of J.Grant (born 1850) as well. So, was W.H and J.Edward half brothers, and then J.Edward had a son (my grandfather JOhn Edwards) who he left with J.Grant & W. Henderson - seems to me to be more than just a coincidence of names???

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Hope your research goes well too.

Antique 1865 Cambridge Bible with inscription inside.

Maybe one of your Ancestors. Inscription reads,"Presented to Mrs Christina Taylor from her Nephew George Aitken on the occasion of her leaving Scotland for America." Gasgon 29th April 1867. On the side written in pencil ( Grandmother of Christina Brubner (??) Leslie. I have been trying to find a connection with all names to no avail. Any decendants please reply.

RE: Arthur Henry Hillier

My great grandmother was Grace Hillier, daughter of Arthur Henry Hillier and Bertha Webley. Arthur's father was actually Henry Thomas Hillier as shown on Arthur and Bertha's marriage certificate (married in 1896 Trowbridge). Arthur was in the Royal Artillery, as I suspect was his father. He was likely born in India as was Bertha whose father was also in the army. You also have some of the dates of birth for their children incorrect. For example - Grace was born 6th February 1898.
